Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, and the Beatles were the ones I remember, as a very small child, being blasted out from my parents’ radiogram. And Sunday nights, as my Pa ironed our school clothes for Monday morning, Radio Luxembourg blasted out the hits of the day
My Sisters would sit me in front of “Ready Steady Go!” every week, I think that’s when I became convinced I’d become a musician.
The first single I ever bought was “Heartful of Soul” by the Yardbirds, and as I’ve said before, don’t think I’ve ever looked back since.
I loved how cool Jeff Beck looked, wanted that hair do!
And I wanted all the gurls to love me….
I’ve sang and played in some awesome bands, the Accidents, the Gene Tryp, and the Surf Rats to name but three.
I’m still active with the Rats, I also do a solo show.
I live, breathe, and sleep music, and I’m really looking forward to sharing some great Rock’n'Roll stories with you.
